2020 Online Workshops
Join me for these upcoming online workshops! No experience writing poetry is required for you to get the most out of our sessions.
"Awakening Presence: Poetry as Spiritual Practice"
April 1-30, 2020
This four-week series takes you through classical and contemporary poems that help you to see, question, and honor your relationship to your spiritual self. Each week has a theme and writing prompt, and by the end of the series, you have a small collection of your own writing, along with a set of poems to keep you connected with your spiritual essence. During this time of uncertainty and rapid change, you will be guided in intentionally carving out time to listen to the "still, small voice" in order to feel grounded and ever grateful.
"Becoming Undone: Unpacking Life's Weight"
Summer 2020
Unless you begin to re-write your story, it will remain the same. Over five sessions, you will be guided to look at what is burdening you and why, how to acknowledge it and address it (if only to yourself), how to begin to heal and move forward, and how to imagine and prepare for what's new. Of course, poetry will be at the center of your exploration.
