Join me for our annual poetry retreat as we close out the year! There will be time for writing and sharing as we reflect on this past year and prepare for the new one. 

FREE but you must register in advance. 
Let's re-record the narrative! Give a new, fresh, truthful voice to retelling your history, your way! In this workshop, I will take you through what I learned in my research for my book, "Resurrecting the Bones: Born from a Journey Through African American Churches & Cemeteries in the Rural South" to help you craft your own collection based on your ancestral research and voices. We're talking oral history, research tools, spirituality & ritual (practices), and tips to deepen how you listen and how you write.
