What we do... It's more than an event. It's a process.
At The Word Project, we are passionate about giving persons the platform and tools to find their own voice and create their own poems. The Word Project (TWP) is designed to engage persons to tap into their creative spirit and find their authentic self. Whether it’s a business leadership retreat or an after-school program for youth, TWP encourages participants to speak their personal truth through creative writing in a non-intimidating atmosphere.
In both one-on-one and group sessions, participants leave with clarity and a renewed sense of self and community, past and present. Poetry, we have found, illumines the way for the soul and provides an outlet for emotions that is necessary for healing and forward movement.
Poetry for healing is more than a one time experience, it is a process that takes dedication and attention. Let us partner with you on your journey towards wholeness.
